Dashboard tabs
The Quotes dashboard organizes work into these tabs:
- Open: Unsent drafts and quotes for which a revision was requested
- Pending: Sent quotes awaiting a client decision, including Pending Confirmation
- Accepted: Fully accepted quotes
- Rejected: Rejected quotes
- Archived: Archived and expired quotes
- All: A browse-only view of every quote that matches the search
The All tab does not provide row checkboxes or bulk archive and restore actions. Use one of the status tabs when you need to select multiple quotes.
Status badges
- No badge: Draft or new quote
- Pending: Sent and awaiting the client’s decision
- Pending Confirmation: The client selected Accept but has not completed email confirmation
- Accepted: Acceptance is complete
- Revision: The client or an authorized employee requested changes
- Rejected: The quote was declined
- Expired: The expiration date has passed
- Archived: The quote has been closed and archived
Unviewed indicators
A count on a tab means that the tab has new activity you have not reviewed. Opening the tab clears that tab’s count. A highlighted row means you have not opened that individual quote; opening the quote clears the row highlight.
Manage versions
The Quote Versions list displays version 1, version 2, and so on, along with sent, viewed, and updated dates when available.
- Only the latest version can be sent.
- Older versions are read-only.
- Use Show archived versions to include archived revisions.
- Use Save as new version when a sent or decided version needs changes.
Refresh quote information
- Use the refresh control on the dashboard to reload the list and notification counts.
- Select Refresh Quote on the quote form to reload the latest server data. You will be warned that unsaved changes will be lost.
Archive and restore a quote
To archive:
- Select one or more rows on a status tab and choose Close and Archive, or
- Open a quote and select Archive Quote.
Archived quotes are read-only and cannot be edited, sent, or actioned until restored.
To restore:
- Select quotes on the Archived tab and choose Restore Selected, or
- Open an archived quote and select Restore Quote.
When status history is available, the quote returns to its previous working status. Otherwise, it generally returns to Draft.
Archiving a quote is different from archiving its customer. An archived customer does not prevent authorized employees from continuing the quote workflow.
